Anak Agung Mirah Wulandari or Gung
Mirah is one of the most talented young legong dancers in Ubud area.
She performs for tourist regularly every Monday at 7:30 PM in Ancak
Saji area of puri Saren Ubud. She is now in second grade of local High
School. Gung Mirah which was born in 1982 often dancing Legong Lasem as
Condong, the servant, accompanied by two other legong dancers, her dancing
is beautiful and elegant, her face reflects the emotion of character she
plays. To see her performance is to understand what the spell of dancing
arts is. |

Wayan is a friend of Gung Mirah in
Sadha Budaya troupe of Ubud. She performs Legong Lasem as one of the two
legongs. After more lively condong came on stage for a while the two legongs
would appear. Wrapped by green and golden brocade costumes she would dance
with the other legong in unison with graceful and delicate movement. Together
with Gung Mirah and Kadek Aprini they form
one of some excellent trios of Legong Lasem dancers of Ubud. |
