| The Maya Ubud Resort

River, across from the charming historical villages of Bedulu and Pejeng.
It is within walking distance of the vibrant artist centre of Ubud and

The architect combines features of weathered recycled timbers with modern natural materials to create unique interiors rich with character. Table tops were formerly teak railway sleepers and traditional fish traps and baskets are handcrafted into lamp shades and bedside tables. Indonesian heritage is represented with an eclectic collection of antiques in the open plan lobby, the restaurant and suites. Modern Balinese style is reflected in the architecture with the use of thatched roofs, blending the building into the surrounding environment. |
