Most of Bali landscape is covered by
lush vegetation.
Extreme fertility of the soil and the abundance
of rain and running water help to nurture the green nature of this island.
Trees big and small, moss are abundant from the steep gorges, on the edge
of the river rocks to the carved stone gates and temples. Grass are everywhere,
it covered the earth up to the very edge of asphalt road. The land fertility
helped to grows rain forest so it became home of many exotic birds, monkeys,
deer, reptiles and insects. The forest hides huts and villages and edges
rivers and human created farms and gardens.
The abundance of the trees, grass, farms, and garden of Bali together
with it's art, ritual and the cheerfulness of the people had contributed
to the island prestigious image as 'The Last Paradise'. |
