| Arriving
in Bedugul from Denpasar, we will first be greeted by the misty forest
and cool air, fruit and vegetable market of Candikuning and then the beautiful
Lake Bratan.
This large lake is nestled in ancient mountain caldera in the northern part of central Bali. At one of the shore of the body of water is sit temple of Ulundanu Bratan which partly submerged in water at high tide. Activities at the cold water of the lake include jet skiing and boat riding among others. This lake is source of waters of streams, rivers and springs of southern Bali. |
