| Activities :
Trekking : Mountain and rice field walks can be organized for you, complete with a local guide who will make your sight seeing of this area, safe and memorable. Swimming : As Sanda is a little cooler than the south of Bali, the pool stays a bit more refreshing after a relax in the deck chairs. Although it contains a massive 85,000 litre of water it is only 1.4 m deep. It is salt water and maintains a constant 23° C. Board Games : There is a large selection of board games available including backgammon, chess and cards, etc. Tours : Excursions to the local areas of interest can be organized for you and as you are already in the highlands of Bali you can see the more remote sights of the island with much less traveling time. Relaxation : The large balconies complete with comfortable lounges overlooking the rice fields let you experience that most important activity..... relaxing! |

Happy Hour : 5-6 pm. Ted ( old East-African hand ) serves his very Colonial Pink Gins free of charge ( Mansion gin - excellent, local brand ). Restaurant with magnificent views from rice fields and rain forest to glimpses of the ocean, not only caters for in-house guests but has an extensive menu for those travelers who wish to just take in the scenery for a lunch-time break. The road from the south of the island through to the north upon which the villas are situated offers views of Bali's famed rice terraces and mountainous terrain. Even if you are just touring the area, a fine dining experience awaits you at the Sanda Villas Restoran. All lettuces, asparagus, herbs and mushrooms are locally grown and coffee is from Sanda's own trees or from local growers. Red meat, however, is imported only. Ice is made from bottled water.
